GRID MESH INSTALLATION

At ICICORR SAC we have the specialized personnel and the experience you need for installations of the various types of SPC. Therefore, this time the requirement of our client who needed the installation of a mall grid type SPC for a tank under construction that stored crude oil is shown. This type of SPC consists of making a mesh using MMO anodes and a titanium bar (ribbon type) throughout the base where the tank will go, with the intention of distributing the current flow evenly.

Prior to the execution of the project, our staff verified that the resistance of the sand is adequate. After the verification, the MMO anode strips and TiMMO bars were installed, joined together by means of welding points, mechanical union. and sealed with epoxy resin between the collector cables with the TiMMO bar and permanent electrodes were installed for monitoring. Finally, the corresponding wiring and tests were carried out, as well as the quality approval by the client.
